-2 heaping tbsp of wheat flour, or any other flour of your choice. You can use oat flour to add more fibre to this snack/breakfast.
-1 heaping tbsp of sugar of sweetener of your choice, I am using raw sugar but you can use any of your preference.
-1/4 tsp of baking soda
-1/2 a big tbsp of peanut butter or any other nut butter you prefer. Make sure this butter is made of 100% nuts or at least that is has no added salt so that you don’t change the flavors of the recipe.
-5 tbsp of vegetable milk, I used soy milk but honestly any other plant milk will do.
-Vegan dark chocolate, make sure is dairy free. The quantity on this is up to your taste.
1.In a medium size mug add the flour, sugar and baking soda and mix well.
2.Add the peanut butter and the plant milk and mix very well until you have a smooth batter.
3. Add chocolate pieces or chips and mix everything again.
4.Finally add some more peanut butter and chocolate on top and microwave this for 1 minute.
*Depending on your microwave this can take a bit more, leave it in the microwave for max 1’20” if you think is needed.
5.Take it out of the microwave carefully so that you don’t burn yourself and you are done! It couldn’t be easier and honestly I think this will satiate all your cravings!
*NOTE: You can turn this cake into a healthy breakfast/snack by just making sure that:
 -You use oat, almond, or at least wholemeal flour. This way you will add healthy carbs and fibre to your body.
-The sugar you use is natural, you can use cane sugar, agave, maple or rice syrup, stevia….This way you avoid refined sugars, these are not healthy for you.
-The nut butter that you use is made of 100% nuts, avoid nut butters that contain other ingredients such as salt, oils or sugar. The 100% nut butter will contain good healthy fats and also a good amount of protein and other vitamins that are essential for your health.
-The chocolate is vegan, taking off dairy of not only this recipe but your everyday diet will free your body from cholesterol, extra fats, hormones, antibiotics…and many other things that your body doesn’t need. Also it is recommended to use at least a 70% cacao chocolate, this way it will have less fats.
If you follow these steps this mugcake will stop being a guilty pleasure and it will become a staple breakfast/snack in your everyday diet!
